Surface pivot

Point at the model before moving the device. Each new orbit gesture picks under the cursor, then tries the viewport center if it misses.

Surface picking is ready for the next device gesture.

Default navigation controls: hold Win (Windows), Ctrl (Mac), or Super (Linux) to orbit; button 4 pans. Shift swaps orbit/pan. Button 1 snaps the view; button 2 locks turntable rotation.

Live query, pivot, and pose evidence. Visual guides overlay the viewer; model surfaces do not hide them.

Viewer API details

Connects automatically when the model is ready. Escape toggles device pause. Native Sketchfab navigation stays disabled so its camera does not conflict with OpenAxis. Experimental roll API; exact Z-up poles are not supported.
